To say the support from my friends, family, and of course this crazy blogosphere we're all a part of, was amazing would be an understatement. There really are no words. The awesome truly kept me going. Jessalyn, I read this right before going in to my Dr's appointment, you have no idea how much that little poem helped to calm me. Thanks again to Amanda, Kiera, Chicken, Salt and Katie for filling in, you did a brilliant job and if I ever retire I will give you all ownership rights in Be Awesome Instead. If you're not following these hilarious ladies yet, you should, and if you missed any of their posts go back now and catch up. You can thank me later for the calories you burned from laughter.
A few other awesomes from this week:

Streets sunbathing on her deck, I covered her lady bits since she has no shame

The Favorite and Peanut...those smiles would cheer anyone up!

WCB came across this sign at her job, I'll gladly forgive the typo!
I mentioned way back when how Vladeraptor is a big deal in our community, quoted all the time in the local papers. Recently, her department moved their "headquarters" from a trailer to an actual building during what must have been a slow news week since the move was apparently newsworthy, thus requiring a quote. “It’s so nice, we have windows,” she said. “There’s a lot of light.” Yup, she's awesome!
I also learned there are people from this great country of ours who have never heard of Cinco de Mayo. Crazy right? Apparently not. I can't remember a time when we didn't celebrate. Growing up the celebrations were based on our proximity to/history with Mexico. I even took Spanish in elementary school, and now speak Spanglish fluently. At Syracuse, any excuse to drink was a good one and the same reasoning continues today. So how is it people have not heard of this awesome holiday? I can only guess it's because they grew up closer to Canada.
P.S. Happy Mother's Day to all of you amazing moms out there! You can read about mine Here and Here...the best there is! I got her a necklace from Daisy & Elm (forgot to take a picture, boo) and she loved it, Allyson makes gorgeous jewelry!
P.P.S. In honor of the unawesome being gone and the joy that brings me, I'm hoping to do the same for you by holding my first giveaway. I came home Thursday night so excited by my find, it's taking all my strength not to tell you all right now. What I'm planning is going to be...wait for it...
